Who knew that “back in the day”, that would be 1993, when Loredana was selling pesto at the Denver Farmers’ Market out of the back of her cute little white Fiat, that Loredana and her husband Jay would some day grow their business large enough to be featured on FoodCrafters, a segment of The Food Channel.

Loredana started out with the basil pesto products. As they grew, Jay started developing marinated Asiago Cheese products with different spices and ingredients such as sun-dried tomatoes, greek olives, peppercorns, truffles, jalapeno, habanero and many more to create over 25 different and delicious flavors. Another of their top sellers is the Balsamic Vinaigrettes of which there are 3 flavors, regular balsamic, strawberry balsamic and fig balsamic. Loredana’s product line is now over 30, growing every year and can be found on their website. Loredana’s Products are great on pasta, poultry, eggs, meat, fish, soups, salads, veggies, rice, pizza, breads..anything!

What I didn’t know about Loredana was that she always wanted to write. This year Loredana has written and published a children’s book about the Tooth Fairy and the Clam. She hired an illustrator, Amy Fitzgerald, who is from Littleton, Colorado and is a fourth year student at KSU. The Tooth Fairy and the Clam was published and printed on recycled paper in Denver, Colorado. Signed copies are available at Loredanas.com

Excercise, Coffee and The Test. . .Oh My!

“Learn to love Morning Exercising” Two months ago if I would have read that, I would have said, “yeah…right, I’m on it”. But that was then, this is now. I’m hooked! Over the holiday season, my sister sent me a link to a website for healthy eating habits. I checked it out, joined, paid very little attention to it until this article caught my eye
check it out . I could have written that article. It fits me to a “T”.

Another eye-opener for me was taking the “Real Age Test”
what’s YOUR real age? Ouch! Much older than my age…not a good thing. I knew I had been really bad about exercising but was sure I was staying healthy. I don’t think so.

The article and the test have changed my life. I feel healthier and breathe easier. I have retaken the test and am getting down to my real age. I can’t wait to get below it. It’s a goal. I’ll keep you posted.
